It’s finished! I’ve finally finished the first Danielle Steel book for this project!

When I finished this book, I was overjoyed. First, I was shocked that I actually finished a DS novel. It was something I could never see myself doing. It also showed me that maybe completing this project was a possibility. Granted, I know that I still have over 150 more books to read (and they just keep coming!), but still I was very excited. Frankly, I’m looking forward to the next one and lining up which ones will be read when.

The First Book

Hello and welcome back!

Thank you for stopping by once again. As this site grows I hope that you will stop by every now and then and find some solace between these electronic pages. May it be a little break from the busy day you’re having, or perhaps you’re a Danielle Steel fan, too and you’re looking for camaraderie.

It’s been a few days since my first post and I’ve thought long and hard about which book I wanted to read first. I knew it would be an important decision. This would be THE BOOK that I would always remember as “the one that started it all.” It was actually quite a tough decision to make.

Typewriter Novels

Today while searching for Danielle Steel on Instagram, I learned that she writes all of her books on an old manual typewriter! Clearly impressive since the manual ones are a pain to correct errors. Also isn’t typing on a manual typewriter more difficult than a computer keyboard or even an electric typewriter? I’ve only used a manual typewriter for “fun,” since I was born in the computer age.

I guess I’m just more surprised that she can still find the ribbons for them!

Hello and Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to my little blog. It’s so weird to have my own little piece of the internet!

I’m RJ and this is the first post I’m making on my new journey. What is this journey you may be asking yourself.

Well, I’ve decided to read every single Danielle Steel novel! As of this post’s publishing, that over 155 books! Wow! Saying it out loud really makes it sound like it’s a mountain of a project. I definitely have my work cut out for me!
